Sam is an industrial designer originally from Hong Kong, now based in London, UK. He holds a BA in Product Design from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has gained valuable professional experience at local studios including Nozo Company Limited and Studio Ryte. His diverse portfolio includes projects in furniture, architectural lighting, ceramic tableware, and consumer technology.
In 2021, Sam earned an MA in Product Design from ECAL University of Art and Design in Switzerland. Following this, he completed an internship at Industrial Facility in London.
Currently, Sam works as an industrial designer at JPA Design, specializing in commercial aircraft seating for international airlines. He combines ergonomic research, and thoughtful design to create seating solutions that are comfortable, functional, and aesthetically refined to meet the rigorous standards of global aviation clients.
Driven by a keen observation of natural human behavior, Sam’s design philosophy centers on crafting rational, and delightful products that enhance everyday experiences.
